Browsing johny-five sources

Postby jayson-thomas » Sat Apr 05, 2014 8:16 pm

Hi,

This was the only forum I could find with regard to Johny-Five. Please do redirect me to the right place, if I'm on the wrong forum to ask questions about Johny-Five.

I had a question:
I am new to web-development: as a beginner project, I am thinking of controlling a servo motor using my arduino. I want to give commands to my arduino using nodejs and store the state of my servo motor in an sqlite database.
And of course, I will create a web page which will have buttons to control the servo motor rotation.

1. What is the right way of tracing back Johny-Five function calls?
example: The following code
var five = require("johnny-five"),
board, myServo;
board = new five.Board();
board.on("ready", function() {
myServo = new five.Servo(9);

board.repl.inject({
servo: myServo
});

myServo.sweep();

this.wait(5000, function(){
myServo.stop();
myServo.center();
});
});

Where do I look for the function sweep, so I can understand how the code works better?

2. Is there a common place, where I can look through all the functions that johny-five provides?

Thank you and sorry if this is the wrong place to pose such a question.
